~~Modern medicine a rubber band and Johnny Cash~
So I have had a terrible pain in my middle finger for at least a week.
I finally went to Pt First and got treated. It was a paronychia. A rubber band at the base of my finger (man it is tough to type with one numb finger) two shots of novocaine (dead on some nerves) and then the Doc pushed backed the cuticle and out came the ...ahem... puss. I have disgusting photos.
No pain. Totally numb.
I can once again effectively do this
