Cops: "If we have to get a warrant...we’re gonna shoot and kill your dogs"

http://reason.com/blog/2013/12/05/cops-if-we-have-to-get-a-warrantwere-gon

Then he said one police officer started threatening him saying, “If we have to get a warrant, we’re going to come back when you’re not expecting it, we’re going to park in front of your house, where all your neighbors can see, we’re gonna bust in your door with a battering ram, we’re gonna shoot and kill your dogs, who are my family, and then we’re going to ransack your house looking for these people.”

The article says this is not illegal. While I think it should be, the cops can easily get around it by killing the dogs without any warning at all.

tweaking to allow the prosecution of the cops for a 'criminal threat' under 'color of law.' Because this cop's actions are totally outrageous, and should be prosecuted.

Such a cop should be facing a score of years in prison for such an utterance on duty as yes a person in such a position as the threatened should have the right to self defense and the right to defense of their household, including deadly force on such an invader.

They need to neutralize something, they would shoot people but that involves a lot of paperwork.

Dog was in a house containing drug paraphernalia and for the safety of the officers the dogs were shot.

Is this Colombia, mo or Fallujah?

When you are all serving on a Jury, the thing to remember is this. The biggest liar in the courtroom is the jackass wearing a badge. If it is just the cops word against the defendant, and there is no direct evidence, find the defendant not guilty.
