Great story! Love it! Here's more about young Christian Bucks' "Buddy Bench"...

Great segment just now on MSNBC where an elementary school young man has come up with an idea to help his fellow students with their troubles...

Christian Bucks just wanted to help his classmates to not feel lonely.

That's why he took the idea of a buddy bench to his teacher and then to his principal at Roundtown Elementary School in Central York School District.

The idea is that students feeling lonely at recess have someplace to go near the playground. When other kids see someone on the buddy bench, they can go and ask them to play or talk.

The second-grader was happy enough that his teacher and principal agreed to allow a buddy bench on the playground. He didn't think his idea would go beyond that, let alone make national news.
