It's all tax money or borrowing against tax money (oh--and tariffs).

FICA is a tax. Congress has allocated it to the SSA, but it's collected under the same income-tax authority as any other income tax and Congress has the same authority to (re)allocate it as it does any other income tax money.

What's funny is the attempt to somehow say that the SSA is somehow completely different from the Federal Government. It's a funny kind of organization--it's definitely executive in function, but not under the control of the only Constitutional source of executive power. Yet it's still firmly part of the government.

When we all die off -- from radiation, heat, cold, starvation, or whatever -- the debt will be settled unless we slowly evolve into abject poverty.
