Virginia GOP chair: Obama is ‘so close to death’ that he needs life insurance

Yes this guy looks like he's in the peak of health.

Democratic lawmakers in Virginia are calling for the head of the state’s Republican Party to resign after he recently joked that President Barack Obama was “so close to death” that Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D-VA) needed to buy a life insurance policy.

Over the weekend, about 450 members of the Republican Party of Virginia (RPV) met for the annual “Advance,” a retreat at a former Confederate War hospital that is now a popular resort in Hot Springs.

But according to Politico, party leaders weren’t interested in soul searching after losing all three statewide races to Democrats for the first time in 24 years.

RPV Chairman Pat Mullins blamed the media for gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli’s loss, saying that the so-called “war on women” was covered more than the president’s health care reform law.

“This year, our message couldn’t break through and we paid a price,” he lamented. “This is false narrative by false prophets… Republicans do not win when we are mini-Democrats or Democrat Lite.”

looking at you perhaps you or your wife need to take out life insurance on you. I am not one to cast personal dispersions but you are a piece of work.

The GOP seem to think the reason they continue to lose is that Madison Avenue has failed them. In other words if they just say, "Minorities we hate you and want you to go back on the plantations or back to Mexico", "Women, you sluts....we need to get in your private parts and make sure you aren't doing anything us men think you shouldn't do" and "Hey country, isn't it great to waste $25BN on a government shutdown that did nothing for our political cause or the country" in a different way they will win?

They are beyond stupid. They don't really believe in facts and therein lies their demise. The facts are demographics are moving against them. Minorities, women (the majority) and the youth are moving away from them in droves. It isn't their "packaging" that is hurting them. It is their underlying beliefs.

Young people will not let you denigrate women, minorities or gay people. Women will not let you tell them they need an ultrasound to decide whether or not to terminate a pregnancy. Minorities do not need you to tell them they are inferior, need to go back to Mexico and have calves the size of cantaloupes.

You old, white men (and women) will die off soon and when you are gone you will be replaced by other xenophobic persons. But those persons, aka the "tea baggers" will not be individuals of means that viewed the demographic changes as an inconvenience and why can't they own a few of them to mow their lawns. The new tea baggers will be poor, uneducated white people in the South that want to take out their misery on others.

They will never realize their suffering is directly related to their support of the GOP that hates poor people, old people, LGBT people, minorities....in essence anyone other than the 1%.
