CNN.com: How Twitter can kill your career

http://www.cnn.com/2013/12/05/opinion/obeidallah-tweet-pitfalls/index.html?iid=article_sidebar

Who could've ever predicted that 140 characters could screw up so many people's lives?

But that's exactly what has happened to politicians, executives, government staff and others because of their comments on Twitter. This social media platform has morphed from a fun place to an information hub to a career killer.

The idiots who post their idiocies in 140 characters or less for all the world to see on Twitter did it all to themselves. Twitter just provided the forum.

Twitter didn't "kill" Anthony Weiner's career. Anthony Weiner destroyed his own career. Twice.
