(8,554 posts)as Tony Blair entered the stadium, and she was giving us a few choice quotes from Nelson Mandela, citing his opposition to the USA Invasion of Iraq. Then she went on and told us that Mandela also said that Bush had no foresight and cannot think properly.
That's when I decided which station I'd be watching tonight, ha!

(8,554 posts)I doubt that Anderson Cooper would ever be quiet...he's being so breathless it hurts to listen to him, but I'm surfing back and forth, waiting for the Obama's to enter.

(8,554 posts)Now Cooper is back at it, claiming that they've been having audio issues due to the rain, so they can't hear all of the tributes. He also said that the Obama's have yet to arrive.

(135,060 posts)Many are still in deep grief. . My 13 yr old just got up and wanted to watch....sent her back to bed but rethought it and now she is watching with me. She has a forgeign current event paper due on Thursday and Mandela is going to be her subject.

They have a spilt screen. BBC has full screen. So the BBC it is for me. Plus a lot less stupid talk by the hosts.
