N.J. Senate panel to take up gay marriage bill

I don't see how Christie can sign this if passed and still run in the GOP primaries. Not that the he would ever act based on the moral rightness of the law.

like this has to be done. The US brags about equality to the world, and then many in the US practice bigotry, discrimination and persecution every chance they get.

Bigotry, discrimination and persecution have had to be fought from day one, often the practitioners of bigotry, discrimination and persecution hide under the banner of their religion professing their hatred is god's love. And, so many radio-tv jocks promote hatred for profit.

If/as this progresses, Christie will certainly reveal his true colors depending on which side he falls. He can choose more hatred, or more civil rights. It takes a strong leader to stand up for civil rights, I wonder, is he a strong leader?
