Another note on the flak over the Obama "selfie" ... 2004 ...

I was watching the news, and it was covering Ronald Reagan's body lying in state in D.C.

Some worshipper, er, Republican (I suspect) and his son made the journey to the nation's capitol to "pay his respects".

He was being interviewed (surprisingly NOT on Faux), and said that "This is a once-in-a-lifetime" thing.

I turned to Mrs. ZBDent and pointed out that this was some real idiot ... only once in his entire lifetime (or his son's) would a U.S. president pass away???

Bet he won't make the journey for Carter. Probably made the pilgrimage for Ford and likely will for 41 ... and I bet he had his picture taken with his kid as close as he could to whatever memorial was in place ...
