PLEASE...to anyone anywhere, PLEASE stop shooting in the schools.

If you are angry-get help. If you are depressed-help is available. If you are aware of someone who may at risk of this violence-REPORT IT.

If you own guns-LOCK THEM UP!

For those who work in the schools-get educated/FAST. Read, talk to experts, demand training information from your school administration.

Above all, create relationships among your students. The FBI reports that this is the single most important thing that school staff can do to learn of possible harm to others in a school environment.

Parents-you have a right to demand more from the altogether useless Federal arm of the Educational system, a.k.a. Arnie Duncan, who has been ducking this issue forever. Start a ruckus.

If you don't know, you should know the terrible, terrible toll this is taking on our nation's students and their school staff

STOP. THINK. GET HELP.

that many of these people think of themselves as perfectly sane while everyone else is twisted, so they don't think they need help.

But I can 100% assure you that there are scores of schools that are dealing with or have dealt with a student, parent or stranger who has presented a homicidal threat to schools AND many have accepted help. Or been remanded to accept treatment. So we must not lose our message to assumptions.

Everybody needs help sometime.
