Me thinks they might need them some down time in the local jail prior to being brought up on trial for failure to enforce the law, abandoning their oath which hopefully means no more job and no pension and maybe even charges of treason.

John Cooke, Weld County, is my sheriff. He's a totally committed wingnut, married to an AnnCoulter wannabe. I wrote him a letter when he announced his refusal to enforce Obama's ideas; his reply letter drips with poorly spelled snottiness.

Yep, I'm working on the campaign of Joe Perez, Cooke's opponent. The seat they're going for is being vacated by Scott Renfroe, known hereabouts as "Senator Leviticus" due to his penchant for (mis)quoting scripture in efforts to legislate against gays and non-English speakers.
