Hartmann on FSTV this morning had that big mouth Jack Burke
on. Jack is down with not giving workers more compensation or a safety net for health care or anything. His frame of reference for hard workers appeared to be the group of people in DC like himself who work hard to get ahead as lobbyists. He disparaged the guy "with the big belly" who came in at the end of the day and watched TV while Jack himself and his friends are slaving away at their jobs. Hartmann did not ask him about whybhis work is so much more valuable than that man who may have come in from a day of physical labor.
There needs to be an effort to address the value of all kinds of labor.
