4. The one that seems to be going down

Santorum beats both Mittens and Grinch, and the reich wing finally delivers the message to Noot that he's toast, and his billiionaire casino banker decides not to throw good money after bad. Mitt has to battle his ass off all the way to Tampa against a single anti-Romney, and pisses away loads of money in the process.

Then, he gets to Tampa with less than a first ballot victory, Ron Paul fails to persuade him to take Rand Paul on the ticket, and the party elders simply side with Romney, leading the tea partiers and the fundies to claim that the nomination has been stolen. They vote for third parties in the fall, and Romney becomes this year's Goldwater.

Albeit by a smaller margin. Romney is a loss with dignity. Rick and Newt have the most potential to rally the crazies and if either caught a huge break would be more likely to pull off the upset. That being said, they also have the biggest potential to piss off the majority of Americans and create a landslide previously thought impossible for a Democrat.

....I think it's a wash....they all will sling mud and lies in the general, does it matter which one does the slinging?

....but the very best outcome would be, the newtster has a heart attack, slick-willard (the rich wall-street Mormon) goes bankrupt and the sanatorium is found in a locker room fondling young boys....their convention then becomes a food-fight in which the beloved palin is nominated....

....then she and the Prez, can debate....

Santorum winning, Romney second and Paul third.

The best thing that can happen to Obama is to have only one not-Romney in the field. Two splits the not-Romney vote and lets Mitt eke out narrow victories.
