Then, if Obamacare doesn't work out as the insurance companies have planned, we'd have to overhaul it, with, for instance, a public option. Then, if everybody in congress was really tired of fighting about all, we'd enact single payer, with stronger accounting oversight, to ferret out the doctors who keep figuring out ways to commit fraud on Medicare. I don't see a downside here.

If it wasn't for some blue dogs, and people like liberman, we could have had Single Payer for all, or at least Medicare for those 55 and over, but unfortunately there were enough so-called democratic senators who would not accept that.

Just look at how some of them are trying to undermine the negotiations with Iran?

Until the Democratic party actually get back to its FDR roots, I do not see much hope for the country. In fact just the opposite.

Do I really have faith they won't put Social Security and Medicare on the block?

is that health care costs are going down and millions who never had insurance will have it beginning on January 1st....how is that a complete meltdown if you believe in facts?
