What would happen if Obamacare was repealed tomorrow??

Would everything be better?

What would replace it?

Would everyone's rates go down or up?

I would suggest that every person get a medical card and that every working person have 5% additonal health tax taken from each pay check. Since we are now paying about 17% of GNP on healthcare, that seems like a good bargain to me? Just like FICA and Medicare taxes, you would not see that money in your paycheck but if you or your family got sick, the insurance companies would not be involved in any manner. However, insurance companies would still be in the business of insuring cars and homes and whatever else they wanted. But they would no longer be involved in the healthcare of the people of this country. That would be my plan.

The health insurance companies are nothing but parasitic, money sucking middlemen, that do nothing to improve the "...general welfare..." mentioned twice in the Constitution of this country
