I'm hoping that the long, dragged-out primary season leads to rancor, acrimony, mutual suspicion, cliquishness, lack of co-ordination, in-house acts of spite, tactical and strategic campaign failures within the Republican campaign teams, voter disaffection among Republicans this autumn and a complete rout in the fall as President Obama handily wins re-election.
