...I can't help picturing the smart people in the West Wing of Republicans, trying to hurt average Americans.
The full run of The West Wing is on Netflix.

(66,386 posts)In the first episode, the President would cut taxes for rich people, and then bomb a country of brown-skinned people who are no possible threat to the US. And then what?
There wouldn't be enough material to do a second episode, let alone an entire series...

(528 posts)As a political drama airing from 1999-2007 (it may have been 2006) many of the major plot points were meant to be an exaggeration of our real political system. They are no longer exaggerations.

Well, actually - I bought it a month ago. (It cost around 80 bucks)
Just finished the First Season - 22 episodes on 6 discs, and then a 7th disc with "Special Features".
Special features includes deleted scenes, commentary from most of the actors, making of the pilot and so on.
Each of the other 6 discs has an option to watch some particular episodes with commentary from the writers/directors.
Great series - but I remember one comment distinctly from Disc #7.
"The real West Wing moves at a much slower pace".
NO SHIT!
