So Newt gets to choose who the nominee is.

Newt, as all pundits agree, "has been around" which means he KNOWS his campaign is over. His "southern strategy" a bust. His voters are not Robofop (my new nickname name for Romney) voters so they would mostly go to Santorum which would mean Santorum would essentially wipe out Robfop's presidental aspirations without Newt in the race.

If Newt stays in he will sap enough votes from Santorum where it will ultimately lead Robofop to the GOP nomination.

And, I guess this is Newt's big chance to get even with Robofop after Iowa. If indeed he knows the game and has "been around" - he's gotta know this. He's gotta know that him dropping out flattens every one of Robofop's tires.
