LOL! SARAH PALIN WANTS TO DEBATE THE PRESIDENT

Sarah wants an a** kicking!

In a nearly 600-word missive posted to her Facebook page, ex-governor Sarah Palin challenged President Obama to a debate "anywhere, anytime" to discuss "the issues Americans are actually concerned about." These issues include, according to Palin: " a debt crisis that has us hurtling towards a Greek-style collapse," "a credit downgrade," "a government takeover of the health care industry," and "an anti-drilling agenda that rejects good paying energy sector jobs and makes us more dependent on dangerous foreign regimes."

Of course, she's counting on president Obama to ignore her, but it would be hilarious if he said, "Gee, Sarah, I have a 2 hour block open 48 hours from now...why don't you head over to the White House and we'll do a debate on the topic of your choice." No way she'd accept because that would not be nearly enough time to memorize the answers.

On some level, she must realize she's not ANYWHERE near Obama's league, of course,

but after watching Game Change I'd guess she's one of those people who

just gets angry at "facts" and goes into extreme denial.

I think that may be due to an over-inflated ego and an inability to accept criticism. I remember a recent failed President that had a similar psychological profile.

You know she's gotta be sitting up in her shotgun shack up in Alaska watching all the attention others are getting and this has to be eating her up alive. Her Denali-sized ego had to be going off the charts as she watched the debates and dreamed of herself as being the heroine ready to swoop down and be annointed. Add to this, there's all the attention "Game Change" got and it's not the narrative she likes...so she's gonna try to change it. She'll rally her legion of dim bulbs who will light the way as she teases them with being a nominee at a brokered convention and now trying to rebut her lightweigh image by challenging the President.

While I'd love to watch President Obama toy with her like a sucker in a pick-up game, but he and the rest of us have better things to do than to give any oxygen to this non-entity.

and it kills her that she's not getting the attention. The problem is that she knows that she could win the nomination....and the other problem is that she couldn't beat the President in a national election.

The other other problem is the rumors that no Repuke will have enough delegates to get nominated at the convention. And you would end up seeing the other white Bush get nominated and Sarah not. It must keep her up at nights to no end...

Bottom line...she's a media whore....

while Sister Sarah would of course make a horrible president, she'd be the most unifying candidate among the GOP field. It just wouldn't do for the other candidates to sling mud at her like they do each other. Sort of an unwritten rule. She's the darling of the tea party after all.

Unfortunately for the GOP, she's demonstrated she's phony as a three dollar bill. Never had ANY intention of running for president, just mikling it for all it's worth and squeezing as much $$$ out of her incredibly naive followers as possible.

Not that I feel any sympathy. If they're that gullible they deserve to part ways with their greenbacks. Ya can still donate to SarahPAC, ya know!! (wink)

It's a stunt because she knows the President will not debate people with no standing to debate him. It would be beneath the office.

is that we won't get to watch a debate between Obama and Perry. What a drinking game we could have made of that!
Take a shot every time Perry said Ooops....... Nobody would make it to the end the first half hour sober.
Sarah Palin debating.. Sorry laughing so hard can't see the keyboard.
Drinking game! Slightly different rules. When Sarah starts wandering around the stage babbling god or bears with painted toe nails or something; you get to drink the whole bottle.

A former half-term governor and failed VP candidate.

Why would the president of the United States waste time "debating" her? Why would anyone? What would be the point? She's nobody, and hasn't been "somebody" for nearly 3 years.

Considering that there is no reason for Obama to need to do such a thing. What she wants is to say "See, Obama's a chicken: bock-buh-bock-bock (insert chicken dance scene from Arrested Development). He won't even debate me." She's a witless chihuahua barking at a thoughtful, well mannered wolf, through a chain-link fence.

Dead-bang perfect. Brave as hell as long as the fence is between her and the wolf.
