(a friend of mine discovered this letter Christmas morning, after her son decided that Santa needed to get fit)
Dear Riley,
As much as I appreciate your concern for my health, and despite your being a very good boy this year, I must express my profound disappointment in the absence of refreshments this Christmas. I also speak for the Reindeer. We need fuel for the long haul tonight, We took a vote and decided your otherwise stellar record was enough to let it go -THIS YEAR. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and really enjoy spending time with your family, who I know loves you very, very much.
Merry Christmas,
Ho, Ho, Ho,
Santa Claus

I agree, the handwriting is not easy to read.
I gather Riley didn't leave any milk and cookies for Santa because he was worried about Santa's weight.
