WALKER HAS A SAD: The nation's unemployed simply aren't looking hard enough, or praying often enough, for work

Over at CNN.com, you can read a full transcript (URL below) of Scott Walker's meandering, pandering appearance on the cable network's weekend "State of the Union" political talk show. In that appearance, the Wisconsin governor essentially blamed America's vast pool of unemployed for their own misery. Then he prescribed the best thing politicians could do to get the jobless and the underemployed the work they need: "Fix Obamacare." Because, you see, that would reduce economic uncertainty and happy job creators would simply go ballistic and it would be morning in America, again! Or something.

As for Wisconsin's significantly higher than average unemployment rate and nationally topmost ranking in new jobless claims? It didn't come up, no thanks to host Candy Crowley. But no matter because, as Walker would have it, those conditiions have nothing -- nothing! -- to do with his supposedly wonderful economic policies. Rather, Mr. and Ms. Unemployed: joblessness is all your fault! You're just not trying hard enough!

Asked by CNN's Crowley if federal unemployment benefits should be extended a few more months, Walker implied otherwise, but mostly by-passed the question, instead laying more cold compassion on the biggest victims of the Great Recession:

I don't know about you, Candy, but if I was out of work, I'd be looking more than twice a week for a job. I'd be looking for every day except maybe today. I take Sunday off to go to church and pray that I could find a job on Monday, but I think there need to be reforms in that system.

Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large groups! Those that originally voted for him and continue to support him, as well as those who voted for him during the recall election...will probably vote for him again!

And the Democrats need to come up with a candidate that can beat him!

I was born and raised in Wisconsin. I live just across the Mississippi river in Minnesota, and I can honestly say, I'm so happy I DON'T live in Wisconsin anymore. He has just destroyed all the progressive and innovative ideas that Wisconsin has been know for. Ugh.

If prayers worked there would be no Tea Party, or Republicans in DC. Their failed economic policies have been proven decade after decade to be a total fraud and failure.

If prayers worked the Tea Party and Republicans would believe in science, biology, math, charts, grafts, decades of evidence, etc.

If prayers worked women the world over would not be treated as less than human.

If prayers worked there would be no warmongering the world over.

If prayers worked there would be no poverty.

If prayers worked there would be no homelessness.

If prayers worked no one in the world would be starving.

If prayers worked all those seeking employment would be employed.

If prayers worked the world's workers would be earning a living wage.

I AM SO SICK of politicians suggesting prayers will answer all that ails the world !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Politicians are among the most corrupt, lying, and vicious people on the planet.

Maybe 'God' is only answering their prayers and that is why the world is in the shape it is in.

Blame the unemployed person for their failure to get a job.

I asked the ministers at a couple of large churches I went to for a job to help them spread their message. I didn't want a handout. I wanted a job. Well, none of those Christians helped me find a job. They were wealthy churches and their ministers lived extravagantly.

I walked out, never to return, disgusted. If God helps people through "his people" on Earth, then I decided that God wanted me to starve to death.
