1. West Coast resident here. No sign of Fukushima. Anywhere.

Using your own recommended sites showing radiation levels, like: http://www.radiationnetwork.com/Message.htm

But not ENEnews, which is like the Drudge Report of poorly sourced articles using falsely labeled images and misleading goobly gook.

I recommend to other DUers that ENEnews should be dismissed.

You know where there's a problem?

Idaho!

Period.

Links to ENE news should be banned at DU is a bunch of crap

I cannot take anyone seriously who uses ENE news as a source

It is no better than linking to Alex Jones or any other wacko conspiracy website

5. On the contrary - it's a reliable news aggregator.

It's not a new source in the sense that they just provide links and summaries of other news sources.
Almost all their news sources are mainstream media.

And yes Gunderson's opinions are news.

7. What can be said about an aggregate site with a clearly biased agenda?

It is said they are unreliable sources of information because they cherry pick stories to further their preconceived narrative.

Fukushima is an on-going disaster and TEPCO continues to lie, deceive, and cover-up:

Asahi Shimbun: TEPCO withheld Fukushima radioactive water measurements for 6 months

12. As a website? Yes, DU is unreliable for objective political stories.

I would not, for instance, use DU as a place to research objective news stories for official work or school papers and projects. I might use DU to explain the leftist or progressive perspective. But I would never consider DU an objective source on anything related to politics.
