- A word to the wise being sufficient unto itself, nevertheless I sincerely hope DUers, particularly those living in the western parts of the country, are taking precautions. Such as obtaining the latest information regarding radiation levels in your areas on a regular basis.
And have possession or access to the minimums: ** Zeolite -- More Zeolite Info ** DMSO -- More DMSO Info ** RADEX RD1503+ - Radiation Detector -- More Radiation Detector Info ** CBD -- More CBD Info -- More CBD Info

(68,644 posts)Using your own recommended sites showing radiation levels, like: http://www.radiationnetwork.com/Message.htm
But not ENEnews, which is like the Drudge Report of poorly sourced articles using falsely labeled images and misleading goobly gook.
I recommend to other DUers that ENEnews should be dismissed.
You know where there's a problem?
Idaho!
Period.

I cannot take anyone seriously who uses ENE news as a source
It is no better than linking to Alex Jones or any other wacko conspiracy website

(8,155 posts)I would not, for instance, use DU as a place to research objective news stories for official work or school papers and projects. I might use DU to explain the leftist or progressive perspective. But I would never consider DU an objective source on anything related to politics.
Arnie Gunderson gives a nice little talk on risk and perspective in the last link.
