This, folks, is Zimmy's latest foray into the art world...an attack on Special Prosecutor Angela Corey, the DA who charged him with second-degree murder. I love it when someone who hunts and kills a human being for no fucking reason passes judgment on someone else's respect for the law.

(89,251 posts)that first juror who came out was throwing out racist shit all over the place in that interview .
the case was not shit. the defense brought out the "armed with the sidewalk" bs and anyone who did'nt laugh at that fucking joke of a defense is a racist.
joeglow3

(89,251 posts)but the media was able to see the jury reaction which nodded to all the racist shit the defense threw out.

(15,317 posts)Because seriously, it is. It's not a hard sell to believe that a large percentage of the experts our media would invite would be shilling for a particular agenda.
Anyone with any sense of justice would have laughed at that "armed with the sidewalk"- put-the-dead-black-kind-on-trial ridiculousness as they voted to sentence that murderer to eternity under the jail.
That jury, even the one who said later she wanted to convict, apparently didn't have any sense of justice.
The one who "wanted to convict" was probably influenced by the one who said "Georgie" had a good heart. And we all know that that juror wanted the guilty verdict quick and fast so she and her husband could get to work on her book deal on trial.

Photoshop has many filters you can use on images to create thousands of different looks.
What zimmy is doing takes no talent, just an entry-level knowledge of Photoshop.
He wouldn't know where to start if he went into an art store and had to buy supplies to paint with. He wouldn't know gesso from linseed oil from his murdering a-hole.

According to the judicial system, that's not what happened, so...that's, um, YOU passing judgment.

(12,041 posts)Zimmerman's disgusting fan club treated Martin as guilty until proven innocent but every rational person knew that this was murder. Just because the NRA and ALEC created a piece of shit law to excuse that murder does not make it any more morally justified. Zimmerman and his supporters are pond scum that should be shunned in the same way the KKK is shunned because they are no better than the KKK, they are mostly racists and every last one of them is a murder supporter.

(64,408 posts)A little less emotion, now. We're talking facts, law and due process now. Grown-up stuff.

(12,041 posts)Zimmerman shot and killed an unarmed black kid who was walking home from the store, moments earlier the killer said "these assholes always get away" and said he was following him. Then the kid ended up dead and a bunch of racist fucking assholes tried to excuse the murder and used a law crafted by right-wing extremists at the NRA and ALEC to do that.
I view Zimmerman supporters as the same type of racist murder enabling scum bags that join groups like the KKK and the Aryan Nations, if they don't like me calling them racist murder supporting scum then they should stop defending a piece of shit racist murderer.
The fact is that Zimmerman killed a person who posed him no threat, there is no defense and anyone who tries to defend it is in the same class of scum that tried to defend the murder of Emmitt Till.

(20,411 posts)I did - I live 30 minutes from Sanford so had a vested interest.
I watched all of the defense case. There were issues with each witness - and that was confirmed nightly by experts with real backgrounds in the law - lawyers, judges.
The jury obviously felt the same way. You can call them racist because they came to a different decision than you, but they were the ones chosen to make that decision. It's the lawyer's job to rid the jury of racists..
I have read many many of these threads here. I have yet to see a DUer support Z. What I have seen are mature (read grown-up) discussions/explanations based on our judicial system. Have there been and are there faults with it? Sure, but it's ours and it drives who is punished legally and who is not. Do you really not see the difference between supporting a defendant and supporting the judicial system?
Bjorn Against
(12,041 posts)Instead of trying Zimmerman they put Trayvon Martin on trial and judged him as guilty until proven innocent all while one of the jurors was working in the background to secure a book deal. It was a travesty of justice and I am not going to pretend otherwise just because some people tell me it is the "grown up" thing to do. I say what I think about the injustice and the people who cheered it, and yes there were people here supporting that Zimmerman shit bag. I am not going to call out individuals and get a post hidden, but most people here saw them. People who support Zimmerman are no better than the people who supported the Emmitt Till murder, they may not like me saying that but I am not going to be silent about my true feelings about them, they deserve to be shamed.

(39,171 posts)then you have a huge problem. It was a hard case because there were no eyewitnesses and the prosecution witnesses undermined the prosecutions case - the very definition of reasonable doubt

Makes me sick.
And it is also weird to me how many fanboys and fangirls Zimmerman has, how he's some sort of vigilante super hero now.
Vattel
(9,289 posts)That doesn't mean that Zimmerman isn't a murderer. I wasn't there and so I don't know what happened. But there was all kinds of reasonable doubt (IMHO).

(7,412 posts)As a defense? The defense argued under the regular self-defense that have been around forever because they had a much better chance of winning.
Stand your ground laws put the burden of proof on the accused while a regular self-defense defense puts it on the prosecution.
Lost_Count
(555 posts)There was a thought that Zimmerman would bring it up again post-trial as it also provides civil immunity but it was left out of the case.

The reality is that this is a scam so his wealthy backers can funnel large sums of money to him. We'd all be better off if they took to just leaving paper bags full of cash on his front steps, then we wouldn't have our eyes and sensibilities assaulted by this garbage .
