On what planet is unflushed poop considered a realistic motive for murder?

On the planet earth, in the country of Italy: unflushed poop is the motive the prosecution now claims was behind the murder of Meredith Kercher, in its 3rd or 4th trial (depending on how you count) against Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito. (Yes, they were previously found innocent, but in Italy that doesn't matter.)

Here is the claim: There were two bathrooms in the cottage, the one belonging to Meredith and Amanda, and a second bathroom belonging to the two other roommates. Rudy Guede, the burglar, left his poop in the second bathroom. Meredith had such high standards of bathroom cleanliness that she got angry with Amanda about that. So Amanda and her boyfriend (who had never even met Guede before, but apparently was outraged on his behalf), helped the burglar kill Meredith.

There were no witnesses putting Amanda or Raffaele in the murder room, and not a single speck of physical evidence linked to Amanda. There were dozens of items, including DNA in and outside the victims body, linked to Rudy Guede alone. The prosecution has argued that Amanda and Raffele cleaned the murder room of all their own invisible DNA and fingerprints, while leaving blood everywhere and only the physical evidence linked to Guede.

The verdict will be tomorrow. The prosecution wants Amanda to serve an additional 26 years beyond the four she has already served. Legal experts are strongly divided over whether she will be extradited or not. Raffaele -- who refused to falsely implicate Amanda -- is in Italy and the prosecution has asked for his immediate arrest if convicted.

P.S.

Italy is the same country that convicted several PHD geologists of manslaughter because they failed to warn the country of a large earthquake.

of a flesh and bones Raffaele, still living in Italy. The same young man who already served four years in prison because he refused to falsely implicate Amanda.

I cannot see BO doing it nor any successor president.

But that comes with a cost - Italy is unlikely to agree to extradition when we seek one.

Where eating the last hot pepper at Thanksgiving dinner was the motive for a murder. Guy set his uncle on fire because he wanted it and said so. I Don't think that's what was happening here.

One of the most bizarre cases I ever handled and there were some that were competitors for the top spot.

for four years so she has little confidence in their system, and our extradition treaty with Italy isn't clear about this kind of situation.

Attorneys here are very divided on the issue. Alan Derschowitz, for one, says she would be extradited.
