Daily Kos has a petition up to request that the Munoz family not be saddled with medical bills

by the hospital or the state of Texas as a result of not honoring the end of life wishes of Marlise Munoz and the decision of her family. If you are interested in lending your support, the link follows:

the people who would have to pay those bills are the right to lifers at that hospital who misinterpreted the law to keep a corpse as an incubator of what turned out to be a badly damaged fetus.

Mr. Munoz and his insurance company should be liable for nothing once she was declared brain dead.

Not only should the hospital pay the medical bills incurred by the choices made by the hospital against the wishes of the Munoz family, the hospital should pay the legal fees for the Munoz family's fight against the hospital.
