Has DU Gone Tabloid?

The threads I am looking at in GD read like The Daily Mail. Where's the political discussion? We lost Joan Mondale - a great Democrat and great American - and her film and post has only 3 recs and is pushed way down in GD, while there are endless Woody Allen and other bizarre threads.

What's happening?

I hadn't heard about Joan Mondale. May she rest in peace.

I posted a little blurb in the Idaho group when we lost Bethine Church. Narry a comment or rec. I attended the memorial this Saturday but I didn't post about it, I know no one would give a rip. Mostly because it is me, I suppose, not her.

Sorry if I overreacted, but you have to admit, GD does look very, uh...tabloidy today.

If big political (or even non-political) stuff happens, there's innumerable threads in GD on it.
