Coburn Supports Constitutional Convention Does Not Like Present Constitution.

Coburn plans to continue his public service after retirement working with organizations and states who want to force a Constitutional Convention. They want to reshape the government. They don't like it the way it is. What they want most is a "balanced budget" amendment written into concrete so they can have everything abolished. Mostly the safety net.

They want to weaken the hold they claim the federal government has on the states and move to a "states rights" model. I guess it is to re install the Articles Of Confederation. Maybe they want to add a clause that makes the Bible the basis for law in the US and toss out the Bill Of Rights, separation of church and state, and lord knows what else.

If you look at all the other crazy ideas coming from the right, our country would really be a mess if we let the RW and Koc(k) brothers have their way.

Voting will not stop them. They will compromise the country and it will take 100 years to fix it if at all. History is paved with all the examples one needs to know.

I can visualize the civil wars (plural) over which states get to dictate what, to which other states. Armed, state border check points, anyone?
Somehow, I'm seeing problems here.
