decides to downsize or wants to move some carrier group to another base, all the anti-gummit types go batshit insane, wondering "How will we survive this loss of jobs and a piece of our tax base??"

I know too many Sues and her male counterparts.
Their excuse is as universal as it is lame: "I earned that!". Everyone else is apparently a freeloader.

Tea Partiers would justify this by saying she didn't take government assistance; she was just getting money that was "rightfully hers!" Anyway, conservatives are capable of amazing displays of hypocrisy and/or disconnect.

She has never indicated that she is actually an official teabagger, but her sentiments are pure TP. She sent out a Christmas "newsletter" that included a rant about the evil "Obummer" and the terrible things his socialist government has done, followed by another rant about how the government isn't doing enough for her - Social Security COL wasn't raised enough; Medicare copays too high, etc. And this is a woman with a Master's degree. Drinking that rancid tea is making them all stupid. How can you bitch about socialism in the same breath where you're whining about not getting enough government benefits?

He's also one of those super oppressed white guys who think women and POCs get free everything, there's a lot of overlap there in my observation.
