And you haven't live until you have heard pipers cut loose in an acoustically resonant space while dealing with a hangover that would kill a horse.

I was once in a fairly small Unitarian church when they decided to have a piper with full-sized bagpipes march down an aisle just a few feet away from a lot of old people with hearing aids.

It was like Moses parting the Red Sea - people slid all the way to the far end of the pew as the pipes passed, then crept back to their positions.
