Constitutional Laws Against Religious Discrimination Violates Free Exercise Of Religion.

It looks like the RW and fundamentalists want a Constitutional Convention because they are being persecuted by the same Constitution because they cannot discriminate based on religion. More and more the meme is that they should be able to hire only their own in their own institutions. And they want to extend the right to discriminate in the same way to private sector employers who hold their own view.

They want to marry religion and state. So the fact that you can't teach religion in the public arena is a violation of free expression of religion. This stance is part of their effort to establish theocratic principles within the US. And they will never give up the idea that this nation must be a Christian nation based on Biblical principles and law and the 10 Commandments.

We are getting so far into the weeds on public discourse it is not even funny.

2. Sen Coburn Part Of Group That Wants Constitutional Convention To Create Religious Govt..

Retiring Senator Coburn has said he will help a group that is working on getting 34 states to pass legislation calling for a Constitutional Convention. We are seeing the Kochs and others pushing to get as many states red as possible at the state legislative level so they can force Congress to go this route. Based on what I can tell, this element is probably strongly extremist fundamentalist Christian that wants to theocratize the country.

The latest meme about attacking gays and contraception as the freedom of religion is a way of goading voters to accept that denial of egregious religious in public policy is a violation of freedom of religious practices. The RW religious right is up in arms about these two issues. So they are using back door meme so they can get their way.

We are in a era where the churches believe that public policy must coincide with religious practices. That means denial of services, jobs, and other public benefits based on your own religious beliefs even if you are running a private company that provides public services. And they are determined to extend such discrimination to public services.

The whole RW push is that all domestic programs must be provided by charities and churches. Under such a domestic policy these same religious organizations believe that they must be the recipient of public money to provide services to the poor and
other economic casualties. Along with providing these services they also feel that they should be able to discriminate against those individuals who do NOT hold their beliefs.

Their ultimate goal is to change the Constitution itself and make being gay or using contraception illegal in itself.

... such a convention, dominated by Koch money, could actually mean the disintegration of the Republic. Keep your powder dry folks (both metaphorically and literally).

5. GOP Rhetoric No Matter How Seemingly Absurd Says Volumes

The public is completely clueless about ulterior motives. Most people are unfortunately too ignorant or uniformed to understand the whole picture with the GOP. The public only sees little pieces of the ultimate agenda if at all. Everything the GOP is up to fits a much larger and mostly secret picture. All the dots of their rhetoric and policy are connected even though they appear to be the opposite.

Here is where the GOP is. They will NEVER NEVER ACCEPT DIVERSITY IN THIS NATION. And they will do anything to rule as dictator. And they have the Kochs and their ilk as their allies who have their own little agenda. And neither is about democracy. They use racial, cultural, class and religious divides to do what anyone with a totalitarian agenda does.

The dirty little secret with the GOP wants a class and race apartheid type of rule as a minority. The GOP has morphed into a fanatical white supremacist and religious party very similar to the Afrikaners in South Africa. Voter sequestration, voter suppression, stacking of the courts w/rich money help, extreme radicalizing of the church group, economic and political obstructions and other strategies all lead to changing the Constitution to their wishes. There is a very hard core religious element in this country who will never give up on making this a Christian nation run by a white minority.

The ignorance of the public and the corruption of the media allows them to snake their way into a political reality they believe they will achieve in the end. Economic chaos and obstruction plays right into their hands.

The GOP is really now an insurgent party bent on changing the government itself. It has nothing to do with democracy or freedom. Ultimately they believe in Second Amendment solutions to the problem. The reason why they want a free flow of guns and ammunition should be obvious. Open carry is part of that agenda.

Now what I have just said may seem extreme, but if you look and listen the fog should lift.

It sad that the GOP is pushing these laws given the fact that courts will strike these laws down
