The thing never discussed about the pipeline is "what are they going to do with all the sand"???IMO

they are going to dump it in the Gulf as it is separated at the refinery.

Otherwise they could refine it in Canada at its source and run a pipeline to coastal port in BC and ship this to Asia. But Canada has strict laws against dumping that sand anywhere they want.
