(25,699 posts)but the frothing hate towards Russia I see sometimes around here seems so very 1985. Putin's... honestly not worse than a lot of other world leaders. Some of which are our bosom buddies.

(8,747 posts)And Putin is seen as "standing up" to the US, so they cheer him on, no matter what he does. If some see the US as "evil", then anything Putin does to combat that evil is acceptable.
