AFL-CIO delivers petitions for MSNBC to stop union busting

Just got this from an AFL CIO email:

Workers at NBC-owned Peacock Productions were at NBC headquarters in New York City today to deliver more than 10,000 petitions to Rachel Maddow and other MSNBC hosts. They’re keeping the pressure up on these hosts to speak out against Peacock’s anti-worker tactics.

The petition is here:

For more than a year now, NBC-owned Peacock Productions has refused to recognize workers’ desire to form a union, even going so far as to impound the ballots from a union election.1

These producers and associate producers are calling on MSNBC hosts Rachel Maddow, Ed Schultz, Chris Hayes, Al Sharpton and Lawrence O’Donnell to support their right to organize for a voice at work.

The AFL CIO twitter also sent Tweets to Ed Schultz and Rachel Maddow about this issue.
