2. Yup, cutest, and similar thing happened a couple years ago.

Might have been park police protecting nest, very close to spot shown today. I posted about it at the time.

3. Awwww. You just want to take mom and the little ones home with you! This mom was

upset -- went to the next drain. The one at the WH just seemed to say "see ya" Maybe she knew the SS was on the job!

5. they are sooooooooo cute

I used to live in Capitola (Calif) and we used to sit on the patio at Margaritaville which was right on the Soquel River where it meanders down to the ocean. We would watch ducks swimming with their little ones and the next day there would be one less, and one less, and so on. That's why it was so cool to see NINE baby quackaroos assisted by the Secret Service up and cruising the WH lawn.

6. Beautiful story. Rachel seems to understand that sometimes we just need to see something that

can give us cheer apart from this grim world we live in.
