Here's a FB screen I took of an acquaintance and retired former municipal public worker who is now touring in western Europe.
Keep in mind that this person and their spouse have spent their careers working for the "government". Hypocrisy? You bet.
I wish that our government would do even half of these as opposed to the bloated military corporate complex:

(27,315 posts)France does not provide homeowner,rental,auto insurance. Those are purely private systems.
Of course, they are regulated, but so are they in the US. and yes, there are subsidized housing and transportation, but they do exist in the States as well, though may be less. Amazing how some people are ignorant when they want.
As for the health insurance system, it is not really a state run system (as in England, for example). It is run by a collaboration between government, labor elected representatives and management elected representatives.

If insurance premiums go up a little, they have to say it's gone thru the roof... and give phony examples.
How many over-the-top emails have you ever seen from the left? Those multicolor/allcaps emails are all RW.
