Edible marijuana warning for pet owners

On the Denver News last night, it was reported that pets, especially dogs, have been getting into and eating their owners' edible marijuana and becoming very ill. None have died so far - at least no marijuana-related pet deaths have been reported so far - but some dogs are comatose and others have remained groggy or sick for several days after eating it.

A reporter was holding a cute, scruffy-looking little Chihuahua mix who was clearly stoned. Poor little guy.

When I woke up it was still passed out on the floor. It lived, but ate half my weed.
