"Devious Democrats" Behind the War On Women

Yes you read that right:

Cathy McMorris Rodgers(R-WA): The reality is, in 2010, the Republicans won the women`s vote. And the Democrats know that in order to win the presidency, in order to win the seats in the House and the Senate, that they have to scare women, that they have to win the women`s vote.

http://crooksandliars.com/blue-texan/cathy-mcmorris-rogers-r-wa-democrats-ar

Wow. The Democrats have finally pulled out their secret weapon. JEDI MIND POWERS! Yes over the last few weeks those "devious" Democrats have managed to use the Jedi Mind Trick on Republicans all over America! Of course anyone can tell you that the Jedi Mind Trick only works on the "weak minded" and judging from the fallout, these Republicans must be the weakest minds on the planet.

Democrats have managed to "force" Republicans to say stupid shit, to introduce stupid legislation, and to double down on their stupidity when called out by the populace.

Republicans are damn lucky they managed to figure this out. Otherwise they might have had to take responsibility for the demeaning, dreadful, disgusting way they have been attacking women and women's health issues. Now all they have to do is convince everyone that it was "ALL THE FAULT OF THE JEDI!!!!!"

I smell.... a fucking landslide.

Limbaugh did try to pass off the blame for his name calling on Sandra Fluke to Democrats stating that in his non-apology that "I descended to [the left's] level when I used those two words to describe Sandra Fluke,”...

Not a surprise.

He advised in Mid February that the way for Republicans to win was through social conservatism. All the Republicans got Limbaugh-tomies and went along with him.

They now get to reap the whirlwind.

Nobody mentioned lazy and you obviously can spell, so this clearly doesn't apply to you. Do you look for the words fat in a post so you can find offense?

Your goddamn right I take a offense to it. Obviously you never had that kind of a problem and you using stereotypes of fat people. You can't even understand what it is because your response only shows you know nothing about heavy people. If you did maybe you could understand. It is offense to me. Just saying that then the poster should take a step back and say wow I didn't mean to offend that person. Maybe put yourself in someoneelses shoes for a change. I know I have offend someone on this DU and I am big enough to say am sorry I didn't mean to offend you. Usually the person comes back with a thank you and I forgive you.

If you take offense at comments directed at other people on a board, perhaps you are too sensitive and this is not the best environment for you. Don't expect people to walk on eggshells because you don't like the word fat.

There's something new.

They called out women, and women answered. Now they try to pretend that it's everyone's fault but theirs.

Good luck deluding yourselves with that one, Republicans. I'll pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, right?

I just don't remember such assinine rules and bills against women's reproductive and personhood rights being discussed 3 years ago and not at this insane level 2 and 1 years ago. What is it about Obama that has made the right wing go on an all out, all fronts attack like this? It's really pretty insane.

The ONLY thing that makes sense to me is that the fringe theocratic wannabe leaders (which unfortunately are the ones that run for office and are therefore being voted into office) are drawing this idiotic line in the sand. They are clearly trying to situate themselves on one side only, forcing women who normally lean RW to chose between their own rights (that means voting for Obama) or voting for the party they normally vote for. I think, they think there is some important winning strategy involved here to misdirect aways form all other issues and focus on the one issue that people are either holt or cold over...no in between.

The RW are not setting up women to be able to make a choice between the two parties based on on ecomonic, tax, employment etc policy. The GOP strategy is to remove all political choice but one, and making the whole election a single issue...and that is women's rights. Why the RW thinks this is a winning strategy is beyond me.

Whether the neighbor down the street had an abortion or the neighbor next to me is on birth control is my MAJOR issue for this election. I don't want to be living around "sluts" and it is far more important to me than keeping my house.

Just think - if I lose my house, I won't have to live around these people known to be using birth control anymore! In fact, I might get the chance to live in an area where women can't afford to get abortions legally and start a home business!
