Hillary Clinton on Wednesday praised Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer (R) for vetoing "discriminatory" legislation that would have allowed businesses to deny service to LGBT individuals.
Thankfully the governor of Arizona has vetoed the discriminatory legislation that was passed, recognizing that inclusive leadership is really what the 21st century is all about, Clinton said in the first minutes of her speech at the University of Miami, as quoted by CNN.
Brewer vetoed the disputed legislation Wednesday night. The bill, SB 1062, had drawn intense backlash from state and national politicians on both sides of the aisle as well as prominent business groups.
The former secretary of state used the veto of the Arizona bill as a launching pad to make the case for equal rights, from LGBT individuals to those with disabilities, to the young voters gathered to hear her speak.

(20,277 posts)Sorry Clinton, "inclusive leadership" had shit to do with it. It's all about the corporations that came out against it, and the money that would have been lost. Why didn't she say something before the crap was vetoed.
