Big Ed hung up on a caller who told him he was sounding like a republican

About giving aid to Ukraine when we need money in this country for the poor.Today was the first day in two weeks I've listened to him.He in my opinion has been a disappointment on the pipe line.

I often enjoy Ed. However, there have been times when he sounded pro Republican. nt ladjf Mar 2014 #1

Ed is very good on labor issues... Otherwise, his Republican roots frequently come out... hlthe2b Mar 2014 #5

He can't really find the compass on nuanced issues. And IMO, that is just what MSNBC likes.

Many of them are at least 3rd way, if not full on right leaning.

I think of all the voices that were on Air America back in the day. All of them that made it main stream after Air America's demise were the furthest right leaning (or least left leaning) of the bunch. The truly left may still be voicing, but do not get nearly the exposure as the "righties."

I guess old habits die hard. My guess is that he'll take whatever position he thinks will make him popular. He converted from repub to democrat back when Air America looked to be on its way up back in the day.

Nuance of complex problems isn't his thing. He likes to keep things as clean dichotomies.
