Man accused of making Elmore Co. women uncomfortable talks with police
ECLECTIC, AL (WSFA) -
Police in Elmore County have found a man they've been looking for.
Eclectic Police Chief Robert Heads says he spoke with Michael Foster by phone, and Foster has agreed to stay away from certain businesses in Elmore County. He's also reportedly agreed to seek help.
There were multiple reports that Foster was making women feel uncomfortable at several businesses.
Eclectic police were interested in talking to Foster even though he hadn't committed a crime.
Foster allegedly had an unsolicited chat with a female customer at the D&R convenience store in Eclectic two weeks ago. He also reportedly told other women that he works as an undercover agent with the Elmore County Sheriff's Office in Wetumpka, which is not true. While the conversations haven't been explicit he is said to have invited women to his home or sit with him in his car.
