#BREAKING State parole board has recommended parole for Charles Manson follower Bruce Davis, 71.

Convicted killer and former Charles Manson associate Bruce Davis was granted parole, officials from the state prison system said on Wednesday.

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation’s Board of Parole Hearings granted the order for Davis, 71.

The decision was made during a parole consideration hearing at California Men’s Colony in San Luis Obispo.

The decision was the result of Davis' 28th parole suitability hearing.

Arnold reversed parole in 2010 and Brown less than a year ago. I doubt Gov. Brown will have changed his mind. Could be wrong.

Manson family killer Davis gets parole grant, but is not free yet

A California parole board has once again issued a grant of parole for convicted Manson family killer Bruce Davis.

Gov. Jerry Brown now has 30 days to decide whether Davis, 71, should go free. Last year, Brown concluded Davis still posed a threat to society and blocked his release.

“Until Davis can acknowledge and explain why he actively championed the Family’s interests, and shed more light on the nature of his involvement, I am not prepared to release him,” Brown wrote at the time.

There's a double standard at work there, too.

It doesn't matter that they have been model prisoners for a long time, nor that once they were away from Manson and grew up a little, they were appalled at what they'd done.

Killing is just so unfeminine.
