DNC Chair: Romney Can't Close The Deal

DNC Chair: Romney Can't Close The Deal

The chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL) said that the results of the Louisiana Republican primary means the GOP remains unsettled.

"The topsy-turvy nature of the race for the Republican nomination continued tonight, with Mitt Romney's say anything candidacy continuing to prevent him from being able to close the deal," she said in a statement. "Of course, after a week during which Romney's strategy to try and 'Etch A Sketch' away his extreme positions was revealed by his top advisor, it shouldn't be any surprise that conservative Republicans are as skeptical of Mitt Romney as critical general election independent voters are."

He's practically dedicated his life to winning the presidency for the last 8 years. And yet, with no "groundswell" of popular support nor the support of RW media.

It's a mystery to me he ever got THIS far.
