Every leader goes through different phases of maturity, growth and development and it helps by (recognizing) the mistakes that you make, Cathy said. And you learn from those mistakes. If not, youre just a fool. Im thankful that I lived through it and I learned a lot from it.
So does that mean he's had a change of heart, and in his new maturity has grown to accept that marriage equality is not, in fact, the doom of America? No. He just regrets saying it out loud, because money.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's related to his recent public support of discrimination against gay people, insofar as PBS can turn down sponsors if any of the sponsor, its products, or its mission is deemed unsuitable for programming related to the education of children.

(1,290 posts)There are plenty of LGBT friendly people, politicians, and corporations who came late to the party after some big revelation about how they love us now, but in reality, I'm pretty sure most of them were just afraid of losing profits and votes from our community and young people.
Never trust a corporation who tells you they love you.

I used to eat there semi-regularly, and I haven't bought Chick-fil-A since he opened his mouth, and I have no plans to buy it in the future.
