I hope so. The weather guy on WCCO says so. I just finished blowing it off the driveway, and I'm weary of snow and cold this winter. Spring officially start tomorrow, at 11:59 AM, and I'm counting on being able to stow the snowblower until late October.
I hope Spring comes for everyone tomorrow. We have had enough snow for one year, all across the United States. It's time to start planting flowers and dig out the warm weather gear.
Say Goodbye to Winter!

(17,528 posts)I know you just wanted to forget that. Sorry! Good luck! I too hope we don't have any more snow. I can't afford another snow plow bill before I've finished paying for fuel. And the thoughts of Spring and growing grass and lawn mowing bills aren't such happy thoughts either. I guess we can't win unless we have an awful drought! The thoughts of that are even worse!

Latest snowstorm in my memory was May 9, 1977.
I remember because it was two days after my second marriage...a day that was warm and sunny and I was uncomfortable in my brocade satin gown.
anyway, it wasn't a lot of snow...just about an inch or so, but still, pretty uncommon.

Last year, it snowed in MAY.
In KANSAS.
I remember that well, because I was in the bank singing "I'm dreaming, of a white .... Memorial Day."
We did NOT however, get any accumulation.

(3,922 posts)We got 6.5" of snow here in St. Cloud yesterday. Two days ago I was enjoying walking on dry, ice-free sidewalks. Today, I was slipping on slush and melting snow.
Ugh. Sometimes I hate MN.
