For RW-ers as well as for an insignificant few (but freakishly prolific) folks around here.

Even though we have such a skewed wealth inequality gap, it hasn't caused any hesitation at all in those knuckle heads' redistribution argument the they've spit out like parrots for decades. The democrats are still stealing from the rich to give to the poor. That would be the pigeon crap in that excellent post above.

of persistent effort to affect how they conceptualize ideas such as wealth and poverty, freedom and equality, public and private, etc. At a deep and unconscious level, the basic metaphors and narratives that people's brains employ to conceptualize these ideas have been reprogrammed by the right-wing cabal.

There is no quick and easy deprogramming. Undoing the damage will not be easy and will take generations as the right-wing propaganda is deeply embedded and institutionalized in myriad ways throughout society.

The right-wing machine are masters of this manipulation. They're masters of narrative and framing. Their perverted and immoral message must be attacked at every opportunity and a more compelling message that appeals to goodness and virtue must be proclaimed.

I've seen teabaggers post it on Facebook with the wording changed to "Arguing with a liberal...". I'm guessing that wasn't the original version, as it exhibits too much wit and intelligence for a bagger to have thought of it, but it'd be nice to see it confirmed.

But I notice a lot of their stuff is stolen from comments about them to begin with.

Except for Frank Luntz, they don't have a lot of original thinking over there, and even Luntz admits he's a hired gun who works for the highest bidder. They have more money than we do, ergo, they get him.

It reminds me of Unamuno's jab at the Fascists at the start of the Spanish Civil War: "Ustedes vencerán, porque poseen la fuerza bruta, pero no convencerán...."

It was especially effective because in Spanish, the word "convince" is built on the word for "conquer."

you can destroy their argument with facts, links and proof.

Yet, the very next day, they are repeating the same BS over and over and over. Facts matter not to these people.

See the e-cig threads here on DU as a classic example.

They DO shit on everything with which they come in contact and they DO strut around as if they had won when they have in fact lost (just like Republicans).
