our demand for petroleum products. Also bio polymers it seems are biodegradable over time.

We really need to get rid of our consumption of petroleum and using similar products that aren't made from it would be a start. I personally would rather we went back to the days we didn't use plastics but I don't see that on the horizon.

for hemp plastic. I assume that means no petroleum and I actual read an article recently that mentions plastics made from organic materials not just hemp.

I am trying to get them to stop using the word plastic, but because we all associate with that words usage, it is hard to change it to something else ... Do you have any suggestions ??
