Can a Congresswoman be taken seriously

In a shiny pink cowboy hat? I'm not sure. I'm watching Congresswoman Wilson from Florida laying out a great case about the Martin case on Countdown but I'm having a hard time getting past the hat. My bad I guess.

but then I think women will never be taken seriously as long as they are so easily persuaded to wear the last shoe fashion travesty.....currently it is the ridiculous Frankenstein Pump:
