The local rag has been publishing a feature about the Martin case and the stories/rumors going around. Of course it's the local rag so you have to take it for what it's worth.

1. It is on target and nicer than it could have been

The reality is that the public does not know squat about the details. The state attorney is sitting on them. Moreover if this goes to the grand jury some of that information could be considered testimony and be suppressed.

Its not clear if Sanford PD screwed up or submarined the investigation. A common meme here and elsewhere. There is no explanation of the State Attorney decisions. People on line have been making stuff up and it gets treated like facts since nature and the media abhors a vacuum.

There is a clear lack of trust by the people in the ability and willingness of the state to do the right thing. The release of public documents would be a good place to start.
