The right wing just loves Antonin Scalia. He won't read the bill. (Original Post) stevedeshazer Mar 2012 OP

Scalia discounted the importance of the Bill of Rights and its protection for freedom of speech and the press. “Every banana republic has a Bill of Rights,” he said. Those are “just words on paper.” It depends on the “structure of government,” including independent courts, to enforce the rights of individuals.

Have seconds or thirds--why not? And don't say no to those cigars your bud, Limbaugh keeps sending. But trade in that red wine for whiskey and gin. And take the golf cart. Walking's for suckers (or First Ladies), after all.

We certainly wouldn't want to deprive you in any way.

And that means one conserves one's time, I guess. Plus, why would you read a bill that's about 300 times the length of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence? All you have to do is this: pick randomly about 10 pages from the bill and see if they've violated one's own originalist/contextualist reading and go from there.

See. Then you drink Martinis.
