Indiana cop caught on video picking his K-9 partner up by the neck with his leash

The officer can be seen using the dog’s leash to pull it onto his hind legs, then striking it in the midsection with part of the leash before briefly pulling the dog off the ground entirely by the leash. The officer then both hit the dog and pulled it off the ground again before being allowed to walk normally.

Just give me this ass hat's address, and I'll see how HE likes it. He should be hauled up for abuse to a fellow officer.

At the most, he'll get a warning not to do it on camera.

I've known a few cops with K-9 partners and the way they talked about their dogs, you'd think they'd take a bullet for them.

And let them know that this behavior is not acceptable. This officer is clearly abusing an animal and a K-9 officer, both of which are illegal. He is also clearly unstable and should not be allowed to work with the public. I'm going to write them now.

and the k9 removed from him until further investigation is completed.

He ought to be in jail, after all he assaulted an "officer". A member of the public couldn't get away without charge if they abused a k9, and rightfully so - this guy should not get away with it either!
